Stylish Home, Logburner, near Beach & Castle

Negative: Unfortunately one bathroom for six adults is difficult to manage. Downstairs loo left a bit to be desired: right next to the kitchen with a door that was difficult to shut. We were there at the end of summer but it was still hot and ventilation was limited and there was only 1 fan in the whole house. The lack of parking was advised by the owner but the reality was far worse than we imagined as the very narrow street was used by many local drivers as a short-cut.

A perfect stay in one of our favourite locations, we will be back! Positive: The property was of a high standard with plenty of space for 2 families. It was well equipped and towels and bedding provided. As regular visitors to Deal/Walmer/Kingsdown this house met all our needs on location, it was a short walk to all our favourite places (and new places discovered!). Negative: N\A

This amazing house was everything we hoped it would be and more. Couldn’t fault it, loved it

Generally good house in quiet but convenient location. Positive: Two reception rooms, good sized bedrooms and outdoor space. Negative: We had to eke out toilet rolls provided to last the full stay - 4 toilet rolls for 5 people over 3 nights was not sufficient. Twin bedroom wardrobe door knob had a very sharp jagged edge which caused a cut on guest’s arm. No waste paper bins in bedrooms. Twin bedroom also needs a proper lamp with three pin plug into socket. Requires a USB plug to use lamp which was not provided. Kitchen needs a proper dishcloth, not just very small sponge and extra tea towel. It would have been useful to know the type of coffee machine so we knew what type of capsules to bring and that a cafetière was provided. Bathroom shower could do with a hanging holder or shelf unit for shampoo etc so not constantly bending down to the ground/shower tray. Nobody like having a second toilet right off the kitchen so it wasn’t used.
